To start off our new sermon series on Acts called, Radically Different, we will be going through Acts chapter 1. I pray that if you have gone to church for any length of time, that you would have heard Jesus say in Acts 1:8, “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit thas come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

These words are an amazing promise. God has told us outright that His power will be working in us to do the things that we cannot do on our own. That is a big deal.

Jesus’ power is unlimited, and it is unstoppable. Jesus’ power is life-giving and undeniable. If His power is within us, it should be evident. But here is the problem, sometimes we rely on other things to keep us afloat and incorrectly call it God’s power.

We invite you to join us this week as we begin our journey to an all-encompassing reliance on the Power of Jesus in our lives.
