I would be willing to bet most of you reading this can point to several situations where you have had the opportunity to be a peacemaker. Whether you have been the one asking for forgiveness or have had to confront others who have injured you, being a peacemaker is not a new concept.

Jesus calls us to be peacemakers. A peacemaker seeks a way to make reconciliation no matter the situation they are in. We have all been in situations where reconciliation is needed, and we know it is not always easy.

Jesus longs to see people made whole. He longs to see unity and not division. It is our prayer that our church unifies people rather than divides them. Between our desire to preserve our pride and the Devil’s desire to fan that flame, it can be a tough battle for unity. But Christ called us to o this–so it is possible!

We hope to see you this Sunday at 10 AM at Cross Connection Church as we worship Jesus together. He is worth it all!
