Have you ever met a skilled carpenter? Someone who excels at making ornate carvings or other creations. What makes them so good at what they do? They are singularly minded. They stay focused on the project and take the time to finish it.

About a year ago, I started carving a gun out of wood for my son. I have the skill to do it but I don’t take the time to do it. So it sits on my workbench until it is finished.

A Christian needs to be focused on one thing and stay focused on one goal—Christ-likeness!

This Sunday at Cross Connection Church, we will endeavour to do just that, have our hearts entirely focused on Jesus. We will be walking through 1 Corinthians chapters 3 & 4. We hope to see you there at 10 AM!
